Can a Thule travel/storage bag be used without a roof rack system?
I have a 1995 Honda Odyssey without any roof rack what so ever. I have a Thule bag that we used with our previous van’s roof rack. Just wondering if I have to have the rack system. Thanks!

I am not familiar with a Thule travel bag. How would you secure it to the roof of the car if you don’t have a rack? The Thule web site indicates that the bag only attaches to a factory roof rack system.
Sears and other companies sell hard shell roof carriers that don’t require a rack. They also do not fit all makes/models of cars either.
