how do you make a ladder rack for a pickup truck?

Truck Ladder Rack

Something that requires no or just a few holes drilled into the truck bed. It will be for 1 or 2 ladders, so it only needs a capacity of 200 – 300 lbs. Designed to be easily removed would be nice, but not necessary.
Thanks

Best way I have seen is with channel iron rails and square tubing. weld it all together then use camper shell clamps to hold it to the rail of your pickup. Then its a simple matter of removong the 4 clamps and sliding the rack off. no holes required. Be sure to put a no slip base under the rack to protect the pickup paint and ensure the rack does not slide back.
